WASHINGTON (May 2, 2011)
“As a member of the Intelligence Committee, I couldn’t be more proud of our intelligence community and our military today. We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to all the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms. Nearly ten years after 9/11, I hope families affected by the tragedies of that day will receive some measure of closure. Although Osama bin Laden has been killed, we cannot forget that the threats he represented still remain--we have to keep our eye on the ball and continue to support our intelligence community and our military in this fight.”
