WASHINGTON (May 10, 2006) Congressman Ben Chandler will be in Clark County on Monday, May 15th at 10 AM to attend the grand opening of the Victory Heights Center for Achievement. As part of the grand opening ceremony of the new facility, Congressman Chandler will be presenting an American Flag flown over the United Sates Capitol in its honor. The new center will continue to implement existing programs that the Clark County Association for Handicapped Citizens already offers, such as their STRIDE Program for adults with disabilities and their First Steps Program for children from birth to age three. As a result of the new facility, the Clark County Association for Handicapped Citizens hopes to expand its services, particularly to children from ages . “The
